Movie Nights
The first of what will be many movie nights was held at the Beechmont General Store on Saturday 18 April 2015. Cirque du Soleil was well received by the many families who attended.
For our first foray into the world of outdoor entertainment, a gold coin donation was requested, resulting in a box office of $86.
Hire of film, due to copyright laws is $300 per screening, so in order to make our events as self sustaining as possible, we will review our pricing structure prior to the next screening.
If anyone took photos of the night, please contact brasacommittee@gmail.com and we are seeking suggestions as to the next movie to be shown, probably at Beechmont Community Centre.
As the weather gets colder, the Hall on Graceleigh will be a welcome venue.

Bunnings BBQ
BRASA held a BBQ at Bunnings, also on 18 April. It was a busy day, but a financially worthwhile fundraiser as the BBQ netted $900 for BRASA funds.
BRASA have booked several more BBQ’s for the coming year. We welcome any volunteers who are willing to spend a couple of hours to help.

Like most community groups, there are always lots of activities that are being done and even more that could be done and as always too few people to help.
As part of the Survey, members were asked if they were willing to help with activities and we were gratified with the number of members prepared to volunteer their valuable time and skills.
You have not been forgotten. You will be contacted. In the meantime, if there is an event advertised that you would like to help with, please don’t hesitate to contact us on brasacommittee@gmail.com. You will be most welcome to join in the fun.
