Calling all Beechmont artists!
Laurel Cottage has kindly offered their premises for what will be the first of an annual art show to showcase the talents of Beechmont residents. Many of the works will be for sale.
The show will commence with an opening on Friday 17 July 2015 at 7pm, followed by “open to the public” on Saturday and Sunday 18 & 19th July from 2pm to 6pm.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to hang some of your works or assist with the organising of the show.
BRASA has recently purchased a defribillator (a machine used to resuscitate heart attack victims) for use by the Beechmont community.
We never know when a heart attack will occur. They can occur at home, on the sporting field, out walking the dog, anytime, anywhere. The machine will be located and accessible outside the Hall on Graceleigh.
A free training course, conducted by Catherine Slingsby, St John’s Ambulance Brigade representative, will be held for all interested Beechmont residents on Wednesday 6th May 2015 at 7pm at Hall on Graceleigh.
Supper will be provided after the course, so for catering purposes please advise your attendance by Monday 4th May to email@example.com
